运用多媒体上英语写作课

为了把写作课上得生动有趣，我们可以运用计算机多媒体辅助教学系统进行教学。因为多媒体信息量大，它集图形、图象、声音、动画、文字于一体，能较便利地展现丰富的感性材料，能开阔学生装的眼界，从不同的感官刺激学生，调动学生的学习积极性，从而激发学生的写作欲望，达到上好写作课的目的。
在此，笔者以高一（下）Lesson 83 More Information About Karl Marx 一课为例，谈谈我的一些做法。这节课要求学生在阅读了Lesson 82 和Lesson 83的基础上写一篇马克思生平的短文。
这堂课的具体做法步骤如下：
1、 Learning the whole life of Karl Mark
教师利用多媒体现代教学手段，展示大量有关马克思一生的图片和文章片段，使学生在耳濡目染中了解马克思的一生。这些内容既包括学生学过的课本上的内容，也包括一些课本上没有的内容，因此既复习了课文，又拓宽了他们的知识面。
2、 Note-making about the life of Karl Marx
让学生根据课本上的要求记下关于马克思一生的8个要点，然后教师利用多媒体的方便、快捷，把答案迅速地展示出来，并对这些要点进行分段，帮助学生构思即将要写的短文。将8个要点分为5段如下：

① Born: May 5th, 1818; Germany
② Studied at: high school; university
Para.2: the place Karl Marx lived |
③ Lived in: Germany, France, Belgium, England
④ Moved to London in: 1849
Para.3: Karl Mark’s works |

the hard life of the peasants

⑦ Studied (languages):
French, English, Russian

3、 Talking about the life of Karl Marx
利用多媒体很便利地展示每一段的图片，叫学生对每一段进行叙述。然后展示五段的图片，让学生把五段合起来进行口述，形成一篇短文。
4、 Writing about the life of Karl Marx
学生根据他们自己所叙述的内容写下马克思生平的短文。学生写完后，运用多媒体打出范文供学生参考。
Karl Marx was born on May 5th, 1818 in Germany. He went to a high school and then continued his studies at a university. He received his doctor’s degree in April, 1841.
When he was still young, he was forced to leave his homeland for political reasons. He stayed in Belgium for a few years. Then he went to France. In 1849, he went to England and lived in London.
To explain his political ideas, he wrote man books including The Civil War in France and The Communist Manifesto. He also wrote articles on many subjects such as housing problems and the hard life of the peasants.
While in London, Marx kept on studying English. And, in order to study the situation in Russia, he began to learn Russian when he was over fifty. He was fond of saying that a foreign language is a weapon in the struggle of life. Marx died on March 14, 1883 in London at the age of 65. He devoted all his life to the revolutionary cause. His political idea of communism is supported by the working people all over the world. He will always be remembered by every one of us.
